Kait, how do you use your Vitamix each day? Our Vitamix gets a serious workout (that’s how I can attest to the quality and no replacements in so many years of use!). That’s just how my mind works! So – our Vitamix sits on our counter, always clean and at-the-ready for daily use. I know this isn’t feasible for everyone, but if an appliance is hidden away, I’m not going to reach for it all the time. Part of making sure I use it at least once per day is keeping it out on our countertop. I sort of made a vow to myself that if we would be investing this kind of money into something, I would find a way to use it.

I can safely say that since we purchased our Vitamix in 2013, it is the most used appliance in our kitchen. When we decided to go for it, I made a promise to use it at least once per day. I also worried that I didn’t cook enough to warrant a Vitamix being worth it. My parents have had one for years and they use theirs all the time, but their kitchen is considerably bigger than ours with more counter space. The first thing I was nervous about when purchasing our Vitamix was the cost. In my personal experience, the taller ones mix better, but that’s just my personal preference. We also have a tall canister, not a stout one. The model we have is actually considered “old” now, but let me be very real – it still works just as well as the day we bought it and we have never had to replace the blades or the container. Is A Vitamix Blender Worth The Cost?įirst and foremost, we have the old version of the Vitamix 750 ( the 6300 – no longer available brand new) and we purchased it at Costco, but it’s available almost anywhere that sells Vitamix blenders.

If you follow me on Instagram, you can see I’m always whipping something up in the high-powered machine! In any case, I have plenty of Vitamix recipe posts, but I had never sat down to hash out the pros and cons of this investment kitchen item. The other day my friend Veronica asked if I had any posts on my Vitamix blender since she knows I use it a lot. Considering investing in a Vitamix blender for your kitchen? Read this post first!
